Halloween on Church has become the largest Halloween party in Canada!
Halloween on Church is an inclusive, family-friendly, safe queer space where everyone is encouraged to celebrate and express uniqueness and self-expression—please remember to be respectful and considerate of all attendees.
Just because someone is wearing a costume—no matter how revealing, detailed, or impressive—does not give anyone permission to:
- Touch them
- Harass them
- Take photos without permission
- Make inappropriate comments
- Violate their personal space
Respectful Behaviour Guidelines
- Always ask first before taking photos or videos of someone in costume.
- Keep your hands to yourself. Never touch someone, their costume, or props without clear consent.
- Compliment respectfully. Flirting, lewd comments, or crude jokes are not welcome.
- No means no. If someone asks you to stop, do so immediately and respectfully.
Halloween on Church is organized by the City of Toronto's Church Wellesley Village Business Improvement Area and takes place on Church Street spanning between Gloucester Street and Carlton Street.
